Bout Me

I'm quite random, have a crazy sense of humour and can keep myself entertained for hours if I have too... which i do at work. I can get a bit stubborn i s'pose and can be a bit gullible but I play the naivity card really really well! A cool as chick said to me today "forgiveness is easier to get then permission" which just totally cracks me up, but dunno if i'm ballsy enough to try it! Gee I guees i'm actually quite a goody-good in some ways... but also like to leap willingly off the wagon every now and then to keep me sane ;)

I love making Xena Music vids... especially love trying to toe the line hehe... there's been a few i expected a torrent of abuse lol but fortunately it appears that others have a similar sense of humour! despite 'screwing with subtext' and 'unseen eps'...

Love music, love the guitar, love the beach, love my family and friends, love travelling and more i'm sure...

Stuck in the midlands (smack dab in the middle of England) with rain and wind, and some occasional sun. English summer is weird summer. And I can't believe that I live on such a small island, but I've never lived farther away from the sea/ocean before in my life. Random.

I'm glad you liked Waiting for Guffman, I'm just a sucker for that type of humour. Christopher Guest is brilliant.

Goodie. Let me know what you think if you do end up watching any of them.

I think I want to change seasons with you. It's supposed to be summer here, but all we get is perpetual rain. And when its not raining is cloudy and humid as a...[insert humid object here]...not fun. At least you've got a reason for bad weather. Alas, then again I guess things could be worse, I could be in the middle of a civil war or suffer from some type of gross disease.

:D It's nice isn't it. I just couldn't resist with all this Divine talk.

You should definitely have a look at Christopher Guests movies. They might not be as "bad taste" as John Waters, but they've got an underlying sense of humour that's actually quite similar. And Waiting For Guffman really is one of my favourites, it's true (in the fake sense), tragic and hysterically funny.

Yeah I so love the egg woman. I love doing that dialogue to my friends. Divine is divine in it as well, but I do cringe a little at the chicken and the baloney.

I'm looking forward to Fruitcake, his new movie it's suppose to have Parker Posey and I'm a fan of hers. Now I wanna watch Waiting for Guffmann as well. :D

Oh now I really want to see it. I've got a gap in my Waters knowledge, haven't seen Desperate Living or Female Trouble. I'm not sure which one is my favourite though, because I'm a fan of the old real crude (on all levels) movies such as Pink Flamingos and Multiple Maniacs, but at the same time Hairspray is just so damn sweet it makes me feel good every time I watch it. I've also got a soft spot for Cecil B Demented, it might not be his best, but it was the first one of his movies I saw.

Oh, Divine. I love Divine. Waters and Dreamland just isn't the same thing without her. I think I need to go hunt for a Divine icon now.
